House Committee Opens Investigation of FBI Illegally Spying on Congress, Again.

The Justice Department/FBI/CIA has been caught spying on members of Congress. Specifically, members and the staff of the committees that have oversight of them.

In July, it was revealed that the DoJ/FBI was spying on the House Intelligence Committee which was investigating DoJ/FBI abuses including illegal spying.

Representative Jim Jordan chairs the House Judiciary Committee and the Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government. He also serves on the Oversight Committee.

There are several federal law enforcement agencies that also have a counterintelligence role. Such agencies have access to CIA/FBI spying tools such as engaging in intercepting emails, phone calls, financial records etc. However, federal law is crystal clear that there shall be NO spying on U.S. persons without probable cause of a genuine foreign intelligence threat and approval from the Federal Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) Court.

These laws are ignored as a matter of course.

Under President Obama, the CIA was caught spying on the Senate Intelligence Committee. They tried to lie their way out of it and failed.

Virtually the entire intelligence community under Obama was spying on Donald Trump’s presidential campaign. First, they denied it, then tried to lie their way out of it but were caught.

Then they manufactured the Trump/Russia Collusion Hoax and were caught.

Today we know that not only has the DoJ/FBI spied on Trump’s lawyers, the grossly illegal practice of using counterintelligence spying tools against defense counsel to deny the right to a fair trial has been going on for years.

In May it was revealed that the FBI has been engaging in widespread illegal surveillance, including thousands of top political donors.

In August, the FBI was caught illegally spying on a United States Senator, as well as several state officials. At this point everyone in any political office and their senior staff should just assume they are being spied upon illegally.
