Senate Democrats Block Bipartisan Israel Aid Package Passed by the House
Democrats demand more money for the IRS & Ukraine, or the Jews get nothing.
According to Senate Democrats, having more money for the IRS is a bigger priority than saving Western Civilization from terrorists.
Before Republicans took over the House, Democrats, along with the uniparty Republicans, passed a huge spending bill that gave the IRS an extra $80 billion. New Speaker Mike Johnson, not wanting to just tag another huge bill to the deficit, clawed back $14.5 billion from the IRS to aid Israel. The bill passed the House with bipartisan support.
Democrats, especially those in the Senate, have been doing all they can get away with to placate the massive number of antisemites in their voting base - we compiled a must-see list HERE.

Senate Democrats, not wanting to give new Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson a win, and not wanting to anger their antisemitic voters, have taken the position that funding the IRS is a greater priority than saving Jews and Americans attacked and/or held hostage by Hamas.
Washington Examiner:
Democrats rejected an attempt by Senate conservatives to vote on the House's Israel bill on Tuesday as Washington fights over whether to consider the aid on its own or as part of a broader national security package.
Sen. Roger Marshall (R-KS), joined by Sens. J.D. Vance (R-OH) and Rick Scott (R-FL), requested unanimous consent on the measure, which provides $14 billion for Israel's defense, but were blocked by Sen. Patty Murray (D-WA), the top appropriator in the Senate.
The Republican bill passed the House last week with the support of 12 Democrats, but its one-for-one cuts to the IRS make it a nonstarter for most of the party. Democrats have their own conditions for the aid, with President Joe Biden asking that it be joined with controversial money for Ukraine.
What if CS said 7:04 pm or just 7:00 pm (today)? Must be some strange unwritten code ..... 7:03 pm. Hmmmm.
