It is no secret that when Donald Trump was a political neophyte, the RNC and members of the establishment uniparty were conspiring against him even before he was sworn into office. The RNC and the likes of Senator Cornyn did much of the Trump Administration hiring and they kept as many Trump loyalists out as they could. This was why there was so much turnover at the beginning of the administration as Trump had to keep on firing people, including his chief of staff.
