Dan Crenshaw Doesn't Think Intelligence Agencies Manipulate Media or Interfere in Elections, So We Made Him a List.

PoliticalArena used to take the position that common social media accusations against Congressman Dan Crenshaw were exaggerated. The video below has convinced us that we were mistaken. A reminder that perfection is a journey, not a destination:

[Editor’s Note: In case some readers are not aware, the term “Eyepatch McCain” is not merely a cheap crack about Crenshaw’s injuries. It is a comparison to the dishonest political tactics of former Senator John McCain. McCain could reliably be counted on by Democrats as “the Republican” who would appear on Sunday Morning political talk shows and trash any efforts conservatives made to advance their agenda.

McCain was literally the Democrats’ favorite Republican. When criticized, McCain used his war injuries as a shame shield against his critics. Senator McCain began as an honorable patriot who ended up becoming the poster child of what the corruptive influence of Washington is capable of.]

Before we get onto the list, PoliticalArena takes the position that TikTok should be banned. PoliticalArena readers know we are rabidly opposed to censorship, so we hope readers understand the level of a problem TikTok has become in order for us to take our current position.

Why?

The TikTok app not only spies on everything you do, but the Chinese Communist Party uses the data to create a psychological profile of every user and uses that to create effective disinformation tailor made to appeal to the sensibilities of each user. TikTok also pushes the porn/OnlyFans mentality directly at children.

Q-anon, which we have reported is almost certainly a deep state disinformation campaign, also utilizes TikTok.

If TikTok were transparent and honest about what they were doing we would be much less inclined to call for it being banned, but keeping it real, TikTok is a weapon of war.

That being said, we would not be surprised to discover that there are serious poison pills inside the TikTok legislation that make it a threat to our own democratic institutions.

So we made Dan Crenshaw a list:
