Why Does Anyone Need an AR-15?

Those who favor disarming the public often present this question while putting out an over-the-top image of a righteous armed vigilante defending the world from threats that they claim are purely imaginary.

Human rights arguments aside, who needs an AR-15? The answer is small, framed people who are facing multiple opponents. Why? The AR-15 is a light, medium powered rifle that is ergonomically designed to be easy for women or people of smaller stature to use accurately. The AR-15 is to rifles what New Balance is to tennis shoes.

A rancher on the border dealing with human traffickers and drug cartels with no help for miles needs an AR-15 as does said rancher who has to deal with a pack of wolves or coyotes.

A single person who faces multiple home or business invaders when at least two of the invaders are armed needs an AR-15. We know this happens as security footage of just such occurrences are posted on the internet regularly.

People need to defend themselves with effective means at places where the rule of law is suspended or ceases to exist for a short or long period of time. Unfortunately, this happens all too frequently as Islamic rape gangs target young women in Malmo, Paris, London and parts of Germany and the police do little to nothing about it in fear of being accused of “racial profiling.” In these same places the newspapers often refer to such gangs simply as “Asians” so as not to be accused of racism. The victims are effectively silenced.

Those women who are raped have their ability to effectively defend themselves stripped from them by a government who promises to protect them and then reneges on that promise with near malicious indifference, not even wanting to admit that these women even exist.

Jews living in the Middle East certainly need effective weapons to defend themselves and their families. Even now Jews are being forced to flee parts of Europe due to mass Islamic immigration, many ‘enlightened’ socialist governments simply don’t care.

The people in Venezuela made the critical mistake of voting for Marxism, willingly gave up their guns, and are now without jobs, without food, starving, while state security thugs rob, rape, pillage, and shoot anyone who dares to protest.

The children of Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida desperately needed someone to defend them with an AR-15. The school authorities failed to report shooter Nick Cruz when he was a student, the FBI ignored its own procedure multiple times when tipped off, the local sheriff's office failed to do their duty in dozens of tips and calls to the Cruz residence, and in the ultimate act of cowardice, multiple Broward County Deputies stayed outside as children were being shot inside Douglas High School.

If Parkland proves anything it shows that government fails spectacularly at protecting people. When law enforcement fails or refuses to do their job (both of which happened in Parkland) you create a place without rule of law, inserting the law of the jungle. The high-profile mass killings in the United States, France, Norway etc. where police simply refused to act until after the damage was done; according to our count the number is almost half.

The status of stable government is rapidly deteriorating in the United States.

Democrat Party local prosecutors are not prosecuting crimes, releasing repeat offenders and creating chaos on our streets deliberately. The Biden Administration has maintained an open border policy that has countries from around the world emptying their prisons and sending their worst to our southern border with the help of NGO’s and the United Nations.

A recent Rasmussen Poll shows that only 23% of the people believe that the government has the consent of the governed. We have a skyrocketing national debt. We have government agencies such as the FBI, ATF, NSA, CIA, BLM and EPA that have been politically weaponized against American citizens.

Peter Schweizer, President of the Government Accountability Institute, has written his last four books exposing government corruption. Members of Congress have sold out to foreign lobbyists, senior officials in most every president’s administration have sold our uranium, rocket technology, nuclear secrets and weapons technology in exchange for bribes to family members and foundations that said politicians have access to.

If the people who supposedly work for us are willing to be this criminal while the people are armed, imagine what they would be like if the people were defenseless.
