Why can there not be an Israel and Palestine? The most honest reason is that the overwhelming number of Palestinians are simply not interested in it.
Available polling from the Palestinian Center for Public Opinion shows strong support for Hamas’ terror tactics such as the use of indiscriminate rocket attacks against Israel. One poll shows 88.9% of Palestinians support for terror rockets and another showing 57.9% support.
Polling also verifies that the overwhelming majority of Palestinians have no interest in a two-state solution with only 37.7 % support.
Westerners keep pushing the “two state” talking point because they are projecting their Western values onto people who refuse delivery. Just like fools like Bill Kristol who thought the Iraq street was going to go full blown Thomas Jefferson once Saddam Hussein was out of power, much of the West is in open denial of what Palestinians are telling them again and again.
Besides, would you want people like this running a country?
