Ukrainian Government Jailed and Murdered an American Journalist
In the Soviet Union, of which Ukraine was a part, threatening, jailing and even killing journalists was considered by those in power to be almost acceptable.
The simple truth is, that many in power in Ukraine are former Soviet apparatchiks and/or people who grew up in that repressive regime. We suspect and hope that the blowback form this will have a serious impact.
The Biden Administration and the globalist/WEF wing of the Republican Party have spun a tale that Ukraine has real democratic institutions with Western values. Today, there is an active Nazi element in Ukraine that self-identifies as Nazi. There are also elements of the Ukrainian government who revert back to Stalinism when pushed.
Combine with the above that Ukraine has been virtually lawless for years. Bribes, corruption, embezzlement and grift have been the name of the game in Ukraine. Western countries launder their money and grift through Ukraine. Ukraine has been the home of illegal biological research for Western countries such as the United States.
President Zelenskyy has been compared to Winston Churchill by globalist politicians and their pets in corporate media. The reality on the ground is that Zelenskyy has banned and arrested political opponents, banned any media that criticized him, thrown YouTubers in jail, outlawed the orthodox church, and threatened to suspend elections - all while he is becoming super wealthy.
Now Ukraine, an ally nation to which we send billions, has imprisoned and murdered an American for his speech, with the apparent blessing of the Biden Administration.
Gonzalo Lira has been reporting on the corruption in Ukraine. The Zelenskyy government arrested him and instead of sending him back to the United States, they imprisoned him and tortured him, which he describes in some detail on his YouTube channel.
Public pressure hot him released on bail. His contacts in the Ukrainian government told him that the trial is a forgone conclusion, and he will be found guilty and sent to a labor camp for which he could not survive. Lira tried to make it to the Hungarian border and ask for political asylum but was captured by Ukrainian agents. Reports are that Lira was taken to prison and murdered.
The Ukrainian government bragged about arresting Lira before he could make it to the Hungarian border. This video is from his final message:

Tucker Carlson reported on Lira just days ago. The US Embassy and State Department are doing nothing to aid Lira and have not provided him with an attorney:

UPDATE - Breanna Morello reports that the State Department has mentioned Lira’s names and confirmed that he was killed. They are so sorry….
