Steven Sund worked his way from being a beat cop all the way to being the Capitol Hill Police Chief. He is no nonsense and by the book cop in the finest “Joe Friday” tradition.
So why did the January 6th Commitee never call him to testify?
Could it be that he was given none of the intelligence briefings that often precede large protests and free speech events? Could it be that Nancy Pelosi denied him permission to bring in the National Guard until 6pm after the event was over? Could it be that Trump deranged General Mark Milley denied him help when he called the Pentagon for help?
Could it be that the New Jersey State Police arrived before any federal assets were deployed to help?
Could it be that the nearest military assets were moved from near the Capitol to protect the homes of generals and other senior military officials?
Could it be that Chief Sund saw on video Ray Epps whisper into the ears of “protestors” and then watched as they immediately attacked and tore down police barricades?
After Chief Sund was given no cooperation by all branches of the federal government he was made the fall guy and fired. Yet, Yogananda Pittman, his Deputy Chief for Protective and Intelligence Operations was promoted to chief by Nancy Pelosi.
Pittman’s promotion was shut down by a vote of no-confidence by rank-and-file Capitol Hill Police. So where did Pittman end up? Pittman was made the Chief of the Berkely Police where Nancy Pelosi has the most influence.
Being the chief of intelligence operations, Pittman was likely the person who arranged to have Capitol Hill officers dressed and ANTIFA and Trump supporters who agitated the crowd.
Capitol Hill Police whistleblowers reported that, “among multiple serious allegations, that former acting chief Yogananda Pittman lied to Congress about an intelligence report Capitol Police received before that day’s riot.”
Politico:
A former high-ranking Capitol Police official with knowledge of the department’s response to the Jan. 6 attack has sent congressional leaders a scathing letter accusing two of its senior leaders of mishandling intelligence and failing to respond properly during the riot.
The whistleblower, who requested anonymity for privacy reasons and left the force months after the attack, sent the 16-page letter late last month to the top members of both parties in the House and Senate. His missive makes scorching allegations against Sean Gallagher, the Capitol Police’s acting chief of uniformed operations, and Yogananda Pittman, its assistant chief of police for protective and intelligence operations — who also served as its former acting chief.
The whistleblower accuses Gallagher and Pittman of deliberately choosing not to help officers under attack on Jan. 6 and alleges that Pittman lied to Congress about an intelligence report Capitol Police received before that day’s riot. After a lengthy career in the department, the whistleblower was a senior official on duty on Jan. 6.
The whistleblower’s criticism went beyond Capitol Police leaders to Congress. Without naming specific lawmakers, his letter accuses congressional leaders of having “purposefully failed” to tell the truth about the department’s failures.

Why is it that almost no one who did property damage or attacked police have been prosecuted, yet some who we have seen on video doing so and agitating have not been charged?
Why were ANTIFA and BLM protestors who attacked the White House and defiantly bloodied Secret Service officers have all their charges dropped?
Could it be that, as some court records have revealed, that federal agents were in the crowd agitating so bringing in the National Guard to stop them would have gone against the plan? Before you as the reader shriek “conspiracy theory,” watch the video above as Chief Sund, without using the word “conspiracy” spelled out the conspiracy pretty darned well…to the point where there is no other practical conclusion.
Keep in mind that federal whistleblowers admitted in testimony that the FBI did not want to release all of the January 6th Video because it could reveal undercover officers that were in the crowd.
