Steven Crowder Calls Out Candace, Tucker and Others who Got Iran Wrong.
When those on the “conservative” side get it wrong we need to hold ourselves accountable. No one is perfect and no one expects them to be, but by and large independent media figures like Tucker Carlson are far more accurate than most any corporate press in day to day coverage.
[In the interests of full disclosure, Tucker and yours truly are on friendly terms, have spoken several times, exchanged emails etc. By and large we enjoy his content.]
When it comes to Iran President Trump accomplished just what he said he was going to do. He wanted to stop Iran’s nuclear and long range missile programs, but is not interested in putting boots on the ground to implement regime change and/or nation building.
Candace Owens and others said that Trump was going to send Americans into Iran to “die for Israel” which is patently ridiculous on multiple levels. Tucker and others made the case that this was all about another long planned war.
After the military industrial complex made certain that the Afghan and Iraq wars dragged on for years when they didn’t have to, the narrative was established that this was going to be how the war grift was going to continue forever, but they just plain underestimated Donald Trump and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, who swore that the old status quo is long gone.
[Editor’s Note: For example, one of the ways the military industrial complex and the Pentagon made sure that Afghan war would go on was to prevent the securing of the Afghan/Pakistan border. As a result the Taliban was getting resupplied with manpower, funds and equipment perpetually. They also were the ones who wanted to leave billions of dollars worth of military equipment just sitting around for the Taliban to pick up.]
Steven Crowder asks, “Why don’t you all who accused the Trump Administration of caving to the military industrial complex and falling under the spell of the Israeli lobby just admit you were wrong and move on?
UPDATE: Remember what we said about how the swamp extended conflicts on purpose?
