Star Trek started on this day in 1966. Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry envisioned a show that would essentially be a series of Greek morality plays set in space. Studio powerhouse Lucille Ball supported that vision. How many of us would not be who we are without Gene Roddenberry’s wisdom?
Captain James T. Kirk: In Every Revolution There is One Man with a Vision
Past or future? Tyranny or liberty? What will it be?
Captain James T. Kirk on the Constitution of the United States
Rights must work for everyone, or they are meaningless...
Star Trek: Samuel T. Cogley Attorney at Law
What if a computer log showed that you did something criminal? What if that computer log was wrong? What are the dangers of trusting computers so much that we use them as the sole witness to convict people of a crime?
Captain Picard: The first link of the chain of tyranny is forged…
When the first speech censored, the first thought denied, we are all damaged.
Captain Picard: Vigilance. That is the price we must continually pay.
Villains who twirl their mustaches are easy to spot. Those who clothe themselves in good deeds are well camouflaged.
Captain Picard: Order A Man To Hand His Child Over To The State? Not While I’m His Captain.
You acknowledge his sentience but ignore his personal freedom…

Damar: What kind of people give such orders…
Lt. Uhura: In our century we have learned not to fear words.

A noteworthy compilation of utilitarian wisdom intertwined in popular media theatrics.
Also, I happen to have had one my first initiations in so-called self-guided journalism after Hurricane Katrina, which changed my life during my 20th year; where I filmed multiple time in New Orleans in pursuit of the truth.
I ran for the VP of student senate at KU later, and was instrumental in convincing a Kansas representative, whom I interned for, to not support either side of the green energy theatrics; although, in order to do so, I did the opposite of what he asked, never once speaking or showing up in his office again in Topeka, Kansas; and unusually, I received an A grade for my internship with him.
Also, in 2020, I was the only one whom I knew of to stand up to the governmental damnation of the Illness--before Jan 6th. I was tackled, arrested, jailed, and my court date coincidentally was on January 6th--I sat in the mayor’s chair in Lawrence, Kansas, and declared, in definitive and etymological truth, “I am the mayor.”
Police and city personnel asked me to leave as the only member of the public there, and said I was being disruptive.
I said that I would leave once the commissioners returned to their seats. And I was also the first official candidate of the coming city commission race then. The communists in government here also locked me away for about two weeks after I was battered almost to the point of death by homeless parasites, who the virtue signalers around where using as means to pat themselves on the backs of their own rotten apples.
There’s more, just thought you should know.
But the first reason I thought to comment here is to tell you what I have learned from the futility of politics and those involved: I would leave these scum lords and minions alone, and focus on your heart’s positive direction forward.
And thank you for liking my Article 28. I can tell it comes from sincerity.
Feel free to reach out to me; some of my current contact information is still public since I filed for city commission candidacy in Lawrence, Kansas, in 2020; where I was censored and even publicly, falsely identified by the Director of Communications for the city here then. It was hell, and I knew it would be, but I didn’t see anyone else trying. Lost all my friends, and so on.
Love to your heart,
Eric Hyde
