Sen. John Kennedy on Biden's budget proposal: "We are going to run out of digits"
"The only way to improve the President's budget is with a shredder"
Senator John Kennedy explains his objections to the Biden’s budget proposal.
Like almost everyone else who has proposed a budget and claimed it would lower the deficit, the savings in the ten-year budget proposal to do not come until years 6-10 (often called the out years) and by that time there is a whole new budget proposal to replace the old one that pulls the same trick.
The only times the yearly deficit actually shrank on purpose were Newt Gingrich’s budget deals with Bill Clinton and during the second term of George W. Bush.
