Sabra's thoughts
“If you are not careful, the newspapers will have you hating the people who are being oppressed and loving the people who are doing the oppressing.” – Malcolm X
Hi Sabra, I will put my thoughts back to you in RED OK :)
Hi Chuck,
I gathered the following impressions. Please let me know what you think: How I think Barack Obama views the world:
“If you are not careful, the newspapers will have you hating the people who are being oppressed and loving the people who are doing the oppressing.” – Malcolm X
1) There are the oppressed, and there are oppressors. Revenge needs to be taken against oppressors. Evidence: One of his campaign speeches in which he said that voting is the best way to get revenge. His numerous mentions of people who have not gotten representation.
2) Groups that Obama views as oppressed: - the Muslims in Middle Eastern countries under the rule of governments that were on peaceful terms with the US until Arab Spring. He views them as having been oppressed by the US. - Africans. He views them as having been colonized by the British, Dutch, French, etc., and therefore, oppressed. - the Palestinians. He views them as having been oppressed by the Israelis. - Black Americans. Before the Civil War, they were slaves and, therefore, oppressed. - Central and South Americans. They were colonized by the Spaniards, which made them oppressed. - Gays. At one time, homosexuality was considered to be a mental illness, so gay people kept quiet about their sexual orientation and lived in fear of being found out. They were discriminated against, sometimes harassed and beaten. They were the first group to have and the largest group affected by HIV/AIDS. Therefore, they were oppressed.
All of these groups give Obama political advantage.
Obama is a strange mixture of Frankfurt School Marxism, Anti-Colonialism, Islamic sensitivities, and Chicago Style Political Corruption.
Like most people, Obama has his "high ideals" but when push comes to shove he is all about taking care of "number 1" and his cronies.
The Frankfurt School taught that if class warfare doesn't work, use cultural warfare to divide and conquer, so a lot of the "I am helping the oppressed" rhetoric is only about getting votes and increasing power. His Islamic sensitivities are self evident.
3) Those who still are oppressed, who Obama doesn't help or consider: The Native American Indians, true aboriginals of our land, who were and still are severely oppressed.
Why doesn't Obama make an issue about them? Because it gives him little to no political advantage.
Actually it is because those who live on Indian reservations really don't produce and are already dependent on the government dole and vote Democrat.
4) Institutions that Obama considers to be oppressive: 1) the Catholic Church 2) the British royal monarchy 3) Wall St.
5) His solution for dealing with the Catholic Church: 1) Aid the spread of fundamentalist Islam and sharia law worldwide, with emphasis on African nations like Mali and Kenya where much missionary work was done. 2) Force Catholic employers to defy their own beliefs, values, and doctrines by freely providing government mandated birth control to all female employees. 3) Likewise, force Catholic employers to fund employee abortions.
Actually, it is the goal of the left to put the state between God and the citizen, or for the state to totally supplant God. If our rights come from God and the state takes His place....
