Robert Barnes: Arizona Appeals Court Ignored Century of Case Law to Stop Kari Lake
One standard for me but not for thee
When a Democrat loses the courts are all too willing to ignore election rules, add boxes of ballots that appeared from nowhere and when they need to crack down on signature matching to stop a Democrat from getting recalled the courts get really excited about election integrity. But when a Republican gets robbed all of that goes out the window and the courts throw out any signature matching issues because they know the signatures won’t match.
In Arizona, the standards for election challenges have been the same for a hundred years, but now that Kari Lake has met and surpassed those standards it is time to change them to stop her. But don’t worry, the next time a Democrat loses a major election the courts will be happy to lower the standards again.
Famed lawyers Viva Fei and Robert Barnes discuss the ruling.
