Operation Varsity Blues was an FBI operation, more like a scheme, to arrest and charge 33 parents for bribing college administration officials including celebrities like Lori Loughlin and Felicity Huffman.

Some parents did lie about their child’s SAT score, hardly a jailable offense, but what most people don’t know is that the corrupt DoJ prosecutors and the judge colluded to keep exculpatory evidence they had about the parents out of the courtroom. Parents were told that if they did not plead guilty they DoJ would just keep filing new charges until they were all bankrupted, but some parents fought back.

Netflix even made a dramatic film about the investigation smearing the parents and students outrageously which tainted the jury pool. Lawsuits are still ongoing.
