More Proof Disney is Trying NOT to Make Money /w Star Wars
Last week, we published a piece featuring multiple pop-culture and other pundits showing that various companies such as Disney/Star Wars/Marvel, Vice Media, Bed Bath and Beyond, and now various beer companies, are pushing woke/ESG politics and propaganda instead of giving customers what they like and would sell merchandise.
These companies know full well they are either leaving potential revenue on the table or even losing money and they simply do not care. They keep choosing the path of losing money in favor of the ideology. After all, they are still getting paid, it is the investors and the stockholders who are paying the price. They are literally doing this with other people’s money - namely yours, your investments and retirement funds.
Now Disney is being sued in a class action by stockholders and it is about time.
Case in point, we have previously reported how Disney/Lucasfilm set out to destroy Luke Skywalker as he “represented the patriarchy.” The result has been one underperforming Star Wars production after another and post Lucas Era Star Wars merchandise going unsold.
Dave Filoni and Jan Favreau had to deceive LucasFilm in order to secretly bring back Luke Skywalker at the end of Season two of the Mandalorian which proved so popular it “broke the internet.” LucasFilm was furious in spite of the fact that it increased ratings and Disney Plus subscribers.
Below is a brilliant scene featuring full-on Jedi Master Luke Skywalker from a video game. Imagine the billions in revenue Disney/Lucasfilm could have raked in if they had brought us this Luke Skywalker instead of the “blue moof milker” we got in The Last Jedi.
Disney has been afforded an opportunity to change course and bring back Luke by John Favreau, Disney wouldn’t have it. Instead, because “The Force is Female” they have announced a new film featuring the amazing “Wonder Rey” who could fly and repair the Millenium Falcon better than Han Solo from minute one and was better than Luke Skywalker after only three short lessons. The disrespect shown to the legacy characters did not go unnoticed by fans and Disney paid the price…well actually you did.
UPDATE - Disney created a “Star Wars” themed Galactic Cruiser hotel. But instead of basing it on the six Lucas Era films that sold billions on merchandise as opposed to the three Disney Era movies that moved almost no merchandise, Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy insisted it be based on “Wonder Rey.” When reviews for the Galactic Cruiser tanked and kids complained because they could not see Luke, Leia, Han Solo and Darth Vader, instead of changing course to make the attraction profitable, Kennedy is closing it.
Editor’s Note - The video above is by YouTuber “Star Wars Theory” who is so wildly popular and profitable that he creates his own Star Wars fan films that are VERY well received. He is the number one Star Wars influencer on social media. So of course, Disney has blacklisted him.
