Many Republican House Members Playing Voters for Fools.
Look how they vote when they think you are not looking...
PoliticalArena has stated several times that almost half of the Republicans in the House are either Democrats who ran as a Republican because that was the easiest way to get elected, or they would rather that the Democrats were in the majority so they could enjoy the perks, the lobbyists, the attention, the insider trading, all while going home, talking like Trump and blame Democrats, while hindering Republican efforts to advance the agenda voters sent them to Congress to do.
PoliticalArena previously wrote a substantive piece on how to know if your GOP Representative is just telling you what you want to hear.
The recent votes for Speaker of the House demonstrate just how right we have been.
Take for example the first round of voting for a new Speaker. While voters were watching only 20 Republican members voted against Jim Jordan, who is arguably the most popular member of the House of Representatives.
Afterwards, on the secret ballot to keep Jordan as the Speaker Designate, when voters could not see how their member voted, Jordon lost 112-86. Let that sink in.
It gets better, McCarthy and the usual suspects are pushing for Tom Emmer to be the new Speaker. Emmer was the spokesman for a George Soros front group to end the Electoral College. The Electoral College is an important safeguard of the Constitution that allows smaller states to have a say in who is elected President. Without the Electoral College we would have been transformed into the United States of New York and California long ago.
