John Kennedy: Democrats Cut Medicare Payouts in Lame Duck Omnibus Bill No One Read

Remember that unprecedented $1.7 trillion monstrosity of a spending bill that Democrats rammed through just before the Republicans took control of the House? The one that no one outside those who crafted it behind closed doors even knew what was in it?
Well guess what….
The Democrat talking point has been that Republicans do not want to cut any spending, but they want to gut Medicare and Social Security…
Clinton and the Democrats taxed Social Security benefits so to you that was a cut. Obama robbed from the Medicare “trust fund” to help pay for the failed Obamacare experiment.
Now this:
The spending bill proposes a Medicare PAYGO physician pay cut of 2% beginning in January 2023, increasing to 3.5% in 2024.
Many doctors refuse to accept public assistance as payment now, with this it will get even worse. How can “quality of care” be maintained under these circumstances, especially considering inflation?
So much for “the narrative” that Democrats protect Medicare.
Before we see it in the comments section, we are aware that 18 Republicans in the Senate voted for the bill, but it could have been passed without Republican support and to their credit most Republicans opposed the bill vigorously. The 18 who supported it are the typical “Uniparty” suspects.
Until the twenty Speaker holdout votes demanded changes the practice of crafting bills in secret and letting Members of Congress have next to no time to review them was starting to become common practice.
