Jake Tapper at CNN almost has the Gaza situation figured out...
Denial is more than just a river in Egypt.
Watch this short clip of the confused cognitive dissonance of Jake Tapper at CNN who is so close to figuring it out:
“Egypt, Qatar, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, could all take in Palestinian civilians, but they won’t” says a flummoxed Jake Tapper. “They have money!” he exclaims.
Tapper cannot figure out why these countries say they support Palestinians but won’t help innocent civilians.
Tapper is in denial of what Hamas and their allies have said multiple times, “There are no civilians. The Israelis love life, but it is our dream to die for Allah.”
Tapper ignores the fact that Hamas has asked Gaza civilians to stay put. Many of them are perfectly willing to be human shields. Polls show that Hamas enjoys robust popular support in Gaza. He simply cannot listen to what they say and accept it.
Jake Tapper is in denial of what the enemy is telling him directly because he, like far too many Westerners, is projecting his values onto the enemy. Even after being shown in the most horrific detail how this enemy is against humanity and civil society, his denial persists.
We must always remember and internalize that the number one goal of evil is to convince you that it is not evil, and that evil does not exist. By doing so this is the only way evil can operate at scale. The enemy full well understands how the only way for evil to exist is for good men to do nothing.
This is why, in their native language, Hamas and its allies are brutally honest, but in English they utilize propaganda that targets Western sensitivities.
Music legend Gene Simmons had something to say about this denial and the projection of Western ideals on an enemy that is laughing in your face:
When you grow up you find out that life isn’t the way you imagined it - Gene Simmons.
The other reason these countries will not take in Palestinians is that they do not want frothing at the mouth jihadists in their borders, as people with this mentality cannot exist without an enemy.
