If the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is not engaging in this tactic we would be amazed. Quite frankly, the CCP is not incompetent enough to not use such a tactic.

Many NGO’s (Non-Government Organizations - think well financed pressure groups), eco-extremist groups and law firms are paid for by foreign corporations and governments in order to further policy goes, engage in corporate warfare etc.

Russia, in an effort to drive up the price of energy and prevent us from selling coal, natural gas and oil to Europe, funded law firms and eco-extremist groups for years - LINK - LINK - LINK - LINK. They sue at every level of the licensing process.

Why do you think that well financed environmental groups will sue to the gills to prevent the United States from generating our own energy, but could care less about China building old tech (non)clean coal plants every week?

These groups encourage the United States to get energy from Marxist and militant enemies such as Iran and Venezuela. They could care less about global warming and have made that position clear. They only care about stopping U.S. energy production, especially carbon neutral forms of energy such as ultra safe fourth generation nuclear power plants.
